The KPF Program

The OKC Running Club has started a new program to support kids in local events called Kids Participate Free (KPF) program.  The program allows kids to run any distance free with an adult entry.  Today as the costs to participate in running or walking events increase, it will become less and less supportive for kids.  If a family of 4 wanted to enter in a local event the cost could be $80 or more for all to participate. Other clubs in the OKC area are being asked to support the cause by advertising their race as “Supports KPF”.  It’s the hope that new races will support KPF through their own resources and that KPF is a standard for all future events.
