WEEK 12 – OKC MEMORIAL MARATHON, HALF & QTR TRAINING RUN (5.5 / 10 / 20 Miles)

SUNDAY 7AM - SUNDAY 7AM - SUNDAY 7AM

Free Run • Free Bathrooms • Free Training Tips
Basically… all the best things in life.

Note: This will be our only 10/20 miler on the course this year due to the final one falling on Easter Weekend.

Sunday’s route uses large portions of the OKC Marathon courses, which is why we schedule this run on a low‑traffic day. Even so, roads will remain fully open, and you should expect normal vehicle activity throughout the morning.

⚠️ Critical safety reminders

  • The RAPID bus on Classen will not leave its dedicated bus lane.

When you see it approaching, move completely out of the roadway and allow it to pass.

  • Use sidewalks and protected crosswalks whenever they’re available.
  • Stay alert at all intersections, even those with signals—drivers may not expect runners on this route.
  • Run single‑file in tighter areas to keep the group predictable and visible.
  • Headphones down, eyes up—situational awareness matters on an open course.

Why this matters

This route gives runners a realistic preview of race‑day terrain and pacing, but it also requires everyone to take personal responsibility for safety. Staying aware, yielding early, and using protected spaces whenever possible keeps the whole group moving smoothly.

Bring friends, bring energy & meet new running friends. Bring a snack to share to make even more running friends!

Share your pics using #Landrunners and #RunToRemember — inspire the world one sweaty selfie at a time.
