Location: Bar K, 901 SE 5th St Oklahoma City, OK 73129 - Bathrooms and an indoor warm up area for those that like to do some warm-up running drills or stretching will be open by 7:10am. The restaurant will be open by 9am for post run food and drinks. Stay after the run for $2 off a menu brunch item!
Course: We will head west to the south Lincoln Bridge, over the bridge heading south to the south river trail and then head west on the trail. Those running 7 miles will turn around at the Exchange Ave Boathouse which past the Ferris Wheel. Those running 14 will turn at the Meridian Boat Dock & Hotels and retrace your route back to Bark K. This route is 98% trails and we will be sharing the trail with cyclist - run on the right so they can pass on your left.

Wave Start - We anticipate utilizing a wave start to spread out the group so please line up according to your expected pace and wait until your pace is called to begin running.
Water Stops - 2 water stops which you pass twice on the course @ miles 3, 6.2, 7.8 & 11. Those running 7M, the water stop @ mile 3 & 4. If you need water more often please carry a bottle. Porta Potties at the Exchange Ave boathouse (3.6M) if white gate is unlocked and at the 2nd water stop. You could also try one of the hotels at Meridian. The Ferris wheel has bathrooms but they may still be closed for the season.
Running Etiquette - Remember that we are sharing the road and the trails with others. We want them to be courteous to us, so we, in turn need to be courteous and respectful and not "hog" the road or the trails. Obey all traffic signs, use the cross walks and sidewalks when available. As always training is FREE and open to all walkers and runners. You do not need to be a member to attend but we can always use the support, membership is only $20 per year.
