We will be kicking off 2025 by joining the Greater OKC Parks and Trail Foundation's FIRST DAY WALK 2025. While this is a walk, you are welcome to run as many of us will be running - especially if it is cold!!! The walk portion will be narrated by a National Park Service Ranger. The event is free for everyone.

Start - Scissortail Park - We'll start from the Great Lawn main stage located at OKC Blvd and Robinson. Free street parking and in the lots north of Scissortail Park. Spark Cafe opens @ 11am if you want to purchase a drink or meal after your walk/run.

Running Etiquette - Remember that we are sharing the road and the trails with others. We want them to be courteous to us, so we, in turn need to be courteous and respectful and not "hog" the road or the trails. Obey all traffic signs, use the cross walks and sidewalks when available. Before our first training run we ask that everyone refresh yourself on Running Etiquette summarized in this attachment. Running Etiquette
