Course - focus on tapering with some hill work this week by running the Deep Fork and Katy Trails from the Oklahoma Science Museum. We’ll begin by heading west on the Deep Fork Trail to Kelly Avenue, then return to the start for a 3-mile loop with a water stop. Next, we’ll head east and south on the Katy Trail past Lincoln Golf Course to the Oklahoma National Guard Museum water stop, then return to the start/finish area, completing a 7-mile route. Runners aiming for 14 miles can either repeat the same loop or continue south on the Katy Trail from the National Guard Museum water stop to the James Stewart Clubhouse/Willa Johnson Rec Center, using their water fountains as a water stop.

Running Etiquette

We share the roads and trails with the public, so let’s represent the club well:

  • Be courteous and avoid “hogging” the path
  • Obey all traffic signs
  • Use crosswalks and sidewalks when available
  • Stay alert and aware of others around you

Please take a moment to review the Running Etiquette summary.
