First Marathon-Feeling the Pain

    I've run the 1/2 three times but decided to go for it this year and signed up for the Memorial Full. It's such a moving experience to run for those who can't. 
    My question is-I usually run in compression tights but decided it would be too warm yesterday so taped up my knees with KT and ran in shorts. By mile 13 my knees were talking and at 14 my right hamstring was nagging and tight. It was my slowest pace to date which is aggravating. Are there any compression tights for warmer temps? Any suggestions to keep the knees and hams happy for the longer distances. I'm 47 and have run for years but I'm slow and steady-no speed in this girl. Thanks!
